A Tidbit about Sustainability
For a while now, SPE had been debuting its eco-friendly merchandise, initially stemming from various types of attires made from sustainable materials, which you may have seen from several of our activities through photos and videos. It has also been promoted briefly during the recent 360Trader interview with SPE Founder Imran Ali, which was uploaded Friday on YouTube, and even showcased aplenty during his week in Bodrum, Turkey, where he — along with volunteers and organizations — embarked on a tree-planting campaign in the areas affected by August’s wildfires. SPE is keen on expanding the production of merchandise beyond attires, hoping to implement its “sustainability” brand on other everyday items.
But not everyone would be aware of how the concept of sustainability works in an object or even in practice. At the very least, it’s considered environmentally safer than the norm, but the assumption often doesn’t go further than that. It’s a good sign that sustainability is regarded as a good thing, but not knowing the extent of the term wouldn’t be too beneficial.
So, what defines something as a sustainable product? Anything that can be used adequately and efficiently over a long period, without risks of decline or compromise, counts as a sustainable resource.
