SPE’s Visit to Turkey & Meeting with TEMA

SavePlanetEarth (SPE) founder Imran Ali is currently on his 2nd international tour to several countries to establish partnerships with their respective embassies as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations, in a much-needed effort to combat climate, global warming, and the lasting ill-effects they leave in their wake. The countries he is scheduled to visit include Spain, Turkey, China, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

SPE Founder Imran Ali has a history of helping climate-threatened communities.

Among this list, his visit to Turkey stands out as a crucial one as the country is currently ravaged by wildfires that had been wreaking havoc on its forests and villages since July 28. Wildfires are commonplace in Turkey’s Mediterranean and Aegean regions during the parched summer months; however, this year shows global warming bringing out the absolute worst in these blazes as they have also swept across many other countries including Greece and Italy.

Imran will be meeting with a handful of NGOs in Turkey in his visit scheduled for Monday; among them is the Türkiye Erozyonla Mücadele, Ağaçlandirma ve Doğal Varlıkları Koruma Vakfı (Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion), or better known as TEMA.
